Darren McGrady, who for fifteen years cooked for the Queen, Diana, Princes’ William, and Harry, took exception to a few points in the show.
Following the claim by the Duke of Sussex that his wife was like his mother, Mr McGrady stated that his wife would never be like or as similar to his mother. I was 15 years old and knew Princess Diana. Not even close.’
But it was Meghan’s ostentatious bow that seemed to upset him – as it did many others – and he highlighted Harry’s demeanor during the clip, adding: ‘The look on his face when his wife laughs about having to curtsey to The Queen says everything for me.’

The Duke continued: “How do people explain that?” How do you explain to your grandmother that you bow to her? You would also need to curtsy to an American. That’s weird.’
Meghan tells the documentary, “Now I’m beginning to realize this is a big deal.” Americans will understand what I mean. We have a Medieval Times dinner, and a tournament. It was like this. It was like I was saying, “Pleasure to see you your Majesty.”

Yesterday’s Netflix documentary by Meghan and Harry features an attack on Buckingham Palace’s refusal to cooperate with the series. This declaration of war on the Royal Family’s and the media is a new one.
The highly-anticipated series will be available in two parts. The first three episodes are now available to stream.
The series features tears from Meghan who Harry often compares with Princess Diana, claiming that his mother was being hunted by journalists.
There are also jibes at his brother Prince William and father King Charles III. He also speaks out about alleged racism in the Royal Family.
In the second episode Meghan speaks out about the formality’ of the royals behind closed-doors, saying that she was’surprised’ at this.
She said, “I was a hugger always being hugger, but I didn’t realize that that was really jarring for many Brits,” she added.
“I guess that I understood very quickly that the formality on outside carried over on the inside.
“There is a forward-facing way to be. Then you close the door, and you feel like (sighs), “Oh great.” We can now relax. But that formality continues on both sides. This was a surprise to me.
The Duchess admitted that her experience in joining the Royal Family was different from The Princess Diaries. She said she did not receive any training on royal protocol.
Meghan referred to the 2001 comedy about a high school student in America who discovers that she is heir of the throne at Genovia, a fictional European country, when she spoke about her struggles to adapt to being a working royal.

“So I had to learn a lot, including the national anthem.
Meghan answered that she Googled the anthem before she lost her monarch. I Googled it, and I would sit down and practice and practice and practice.
Later, the 41-year-old described her first ‘amazing’ Christmas at Sandringham, where she was sat next to the late Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.

Meghan recalled her first Christmas at Sandringham and said that she found it ‘amazing’ because she was surrounded by a large family, just like she had always hoped.
Meghan said, “I vividly remember the first Christmas at Sandringham.” ‘Calling my mom, and she’s like, “How’s it going?” and I said, “Oh my gosh, it’s amazing. It’s just like a big family like I always wanted”.’
She recalled a lighter moment she shared with Prince Philip, whom she sat next during the royal festive meal.
She said, “There was just this constant motion, energy, and fun.” [Harry] He was like, “You had his bad ears, he couldn’t hear what you were saying” and I was like, “Oh… Well I thought it went really well.”
Prince Harry added that the Royal Family seemed to be ‘incredibly impressed with Meghan’ in the early days.
However, the Duke also stated that his family believed that the relationship with Suits actress was not going to last.
“I can still remember my family meeting her for the first time and being so impressed. Some of them didn’t know what to do. They were astonished that the ginger could find such a beautiful woman. And such a smart woman.
“But the fact that they were dating an American actress was probably what clouded them judgment more than anything else.
Meghan added that “the actress thing was the greatest problem, funny enough.” There is a clear idea of what that looks from the UK – Hollywood – and it’s very easy for them typecast it.
In the third episode, the Duchess said that she didn’t know much about royal walkabouts – where royals meet people who have gathered in the streets – prior to going on her first one.
“I have never seen pictures or videos of a walkabout.” She asked, “What’s a walkabout?” She replied.
Harry explained, ‘I could talk her though as much as she knew from my personal experience of what I’d witnessed. The only thing I didn’t really know was style. What a woman needs to wear, how to dress, and all the rest.
Meghan also mentioned that her zip had broken on her outfit before she went on her first walkabout in Nottingham. Harry replied, “The whole thing was just absurd.”
The duke said that everyone was so happy and excited. I believe people looked at it, and thought, “Wow! What a breath of fresh oxygen!”
Later, the show saw the Duchess’s mother speak out about her daughter’s relationship to Prince Harry. She said that the past five years had been ‘challenging’.

Ms Ragland was asked if she can recall the first time she heard about the relationship.
“Oh my God !”.’,” I started to whisper.
Meghan told her mother during that first call that she wanted to keep their relationship secret. Ms Ragland continued: “I also remember when I first met Harry (Harry), a 6’1 handsome, red-haired man with great manners.
“It was just really nice and they seemed really happy together, as if he was the right one… Once it became public that they were together, it seemed kinda like an novelty.
She She went on to say that Meghan was a mature and empathic child, and that the Duchess viewed her as a controlling older sister rather than a mom.
The episode featured footage and old photos of Meghan as a child.
Ms Ragland claimed that paparazzi would photograph deprived neighborhoods in Los Angeles in order to claim that Meghan grew up there.
