Carrie Bickmore has split from her partner of 11 years, Chris Walker.

The TV star, 42, made the announcement in an emotional Instagram post on Wednesday morning, saying the couple are now focusing on raising their three children: Ollie, 15, Evie, seven and Adelaide, four. .

The shocking news comes just a month after Carrie hosted her latest episode of The Project.

“It is with immense sadness that Chris and I have decided to part ways,” she wrote.

It comes after Carrie opened up about her private struggles in a moving farewell letter to The Project’s hair and makeup team after leaving the Channel 10 show in November.

In a handwritten note to her glam team, the 42-year-old thanked them for getting her through some of the toughest times in her professional life.

Carrie’s letter was posted to Instagram by makeup artist Julie Bekiri, who also shared a video of the TV host giggling in the salon chair as The Project’s glam crew worked their magic.
